Volunteer

TREATS has a variety of volunteer opportunities with our fund-raising events throughout the year. Our signature events are the annual “For Cat's Sake,” “Santa Paws Walk,” and “Camp Bark-ly,” but we also participate in other fundraising events throughout the year, such as the Alternative Christmas Markets. There is plenty of rewarding work to do and we want you to join our team. Be part of our group and make a difference. You can volunteer for any or all of our events, whatever fits into your busy schedule. With your help, we can improve the lives of thousands of animals in our community.

Opportunities

For Cat’s Sake - A large art and crafts silent auction focusing on cats. An evening of food, music, animal experts with demonstrations, and more. If you have an artistic flair yourself, or just happen to have some artistic items you’d like to donate, this is the event for you!

Camp Bark-ly - Held in June or July each year, children age 6 - 12 learn animal care from experienced animal care professionals and trainers and get to wash puppies and groom kittens. They also learn how to keep the environment clean for people and pets, and how to make a good impact on their community, including volunteer work.

Santa Paws Walk - A pet walk at Lake Ella with organized games, food, DJ’s, and photos with Santa. There are also silly contests dogs may enter like sweetest face or prissiest prancer.
